1. Tell us a little s about yourself.
Godfather- I am 55 yrs old. My name is Henry Silvestre. I own GoNutz Donuts in Wildomar and I am also a 20% Partner/owner of Fitness 19 Wildomar. I like Good Food and good Spirits and love to interact with people. Grew up in San Diego, love everything San Diego from the Clippers to the Bolts and Padres in between. And yes I dont care that 2 of my main Sports teams have left San Diego, I follow them to this day. I am married to my wife Nicole and have a 10 year old Little H.
2. What brought you into basketball sim leagues.
Godfather- I am a contributor to the Padres Forumn in the UT San Diego and one of the dudes there Hollywood Leo ran a Baseball Sim League and invited me to join like 6yrs ago. While in the league 1 of the GM's and for the life of me I can never rememember their name invited me to a Basketball Sim league. and the rest is history.
3. Do you play or have been in other sports type leagues.
Godfather- The Above baseball sim league, also Hokeys Mogul Baseball league where I won the WS in season 2. Besides that just Fantay Baseball, Basketball and Football leagues.. Wayyyy too many to list. I am also currentely in 5 Basketball Sim Leagues.. Bundy's, this one, LB's and TFBSL and BSL.
4. Did you play any of the sports in real life and were you in them.
Godfather- I played Baseball, Football, Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball in Highschool. Played Football at USC 1983-1987 under coach Ted Tollner. After College I played lots of basketball (pick up games etc) and Golfed a lot. Now only play Golf from time to time.
5. What do you think of this league so far.
Godfather- I love how it begun with the creation draft (I was Pelicans) then had to leave and came back with the Spurs. I think is a fun league and activity seems to be decent so far.
6. What do you hate about this league.
Godfather- I dont know if I hate much to be honest. Well maybe the limited ways to earn $$ and rewards but its all good, here we are typing away getting that RC.
7. What do you like about it.
Godfather- I absolutely love the S & U Sims. No need to worry if I can make a Sim or not, can easily check boxes and comment and allows me to enjoy freedonm throught the day instead of Worrying if I am going to make it on time or not. Love it Love it.
8. What athlete or celebrity is your personal idol.
Godfather- I grew up idolizing Dr J on the hardwood, Dan Fouts on the GridIron and loved Winfield, Tony Gwynn, Joe Morgan, Johhny Bench and Pete Rose on the Diamond. Also Nolan Ryan. Currently I dont have any idols, I guess when your almost 55 idols dont really exist anymore. I do follow a lot of sports and love me a good match no matter the genre.
9. What have you been up too during this pandemic.
Godfather- Gaining lots of weight, eating too much. Chilling, I only work 3 hrs a day 3 days a week (9 hours total) Friday, Saturday and Sundays at my business and let my employees run it the rest of the time. I feel this is how I protect myself and my exposure to the public.
10. What your teams personal plan or style of build you want to do.
Godfather- I like Bigs that Block and Rebound, definetely a plus if they score as well- I got Collins so a good foundation piece. My 5 need growth and development and not sure my starting 5 for the near future is yet on my roster. I love explosive 3 or 2 and a complimentary defensive 1st one at the other. I think Spurs have that and with depth. Ingram is good. I like a PG that passes well and protects the ball a 4 to 1 assist to TO's rate or better is essential. I think we have some good Depth at PG but not the leader we will eventually need, if you know what I mean.
